Jim Carlson entered the audio-visual industry in 1971 and spent most of the next 22 years as Vice President of a large Arizona based audio-visual company.

In 1993 Jim formed his own company, American Audio Visual Center. He has grown his company from a start up to its current position as a respected national company. Jim has driven his company through rapid expansion; currently a multi-state and multi-million dollar organization. This exceptional growth landed him on the INC 500 list as one of America's fastest growing privately held corporations. Jim attributes his growth and success to the customer service philosophy he based his business on from day one.
