
Jeff Winkler
Chief Operations Officer
Jeff Winkler has been with American Audio Visual Center for more than 12 years and in the Audiovisual industry for 23 years, with 18 years of senior management experience.
After graduating from college and spending two years in the television broadcasting industry, Jeff joined Audio Visual America / Stage Sound, Phoenix in 1987. He managed the customer service department and then ran the local operations until being named General Manager in 1992. When Bauer Audio Visual purchased AVA, Jeff became Regional Director and sat on the company's executive committee. Responsibilities included management of a large, multi-state portfolio of hotel accounts. When Bauer was later purchased by Caribiner International / Total Audio Visual Services, he became Regional Vice President of an area with approximately 60 hotels and $50 million in revenue. Areas of responsibility included most major markets in the Western United States. As this region was heavily concentrated with large, upscale Resorts; he became a specialist in setting up systems to open, operate, sell and support audio-visual in these venues.
Since taking the operational reigns at AAVC, he has worked to open more than 40 new accounts. He built the foundation and infrastructure to support the extraordinary growth AAVC has achieved. He has polished management skills and has developed many systems and procedures used in the industry throughout the years. As a respected leader and team builder, he has earned the loyalty of both employees and clients.
